"Do you remember the first time, the first taste, the first whiff of a rose in bloom? Or the first dive into the vast ocean without hesitation of its depth? What about the feeling of grass touching your feet and a breeze from the earth, in seeing yourself through the echo of a shadow. These are memories of joy, unleashing pure happiness, that have shaped us into who we are today.

Joy is where it all started for me. The joy of moving to NYC on a whim, the joy of crafting the first trouser and the crooning of elation from first wear. The joy of our first presentation, Fall 2005, that led to the first of so many moments all around the world. The joy of meeting so many people who have become my dearest friends, family, and community along the way. I have been reflecting upon these early memories of joy as of late,  perhaps an innate push against the present, complicated world and my desire to find my way back. 
 
Today, we return to why we love fashion and the joy of crafting clothes that my team and I present with pure passion, creativity and pleasure. Through the gesture of a hand-crafted rose, a memory from 2007, an ongoing brand motif that signifies our beginning and continues as an evolution from bloom into growth, romance and grit.  A joyful return to origin. "
